Out of the Woods Exhibition
A free, yearly exhibition that showcases the work of FWWA members, high school students, and members of the public.
Proudly presented by the Fine Woodwork Association of Western Australia. Showcasing all forms of fine woodwork. From students, novices, and seasoned professionals, participants share their passion, creativity, and craftsmanship. Meet the members and enjoy this superb exhibition.
The Out of the Woods Exhibition is presented over one weekend in November and is open to anyone, not just members of the Fine Woodwork Association. We have been presenting the Out of the Woods for many years, and we relocated the exhibition to the Pattern Workshop which is one of the workshops at the heritage listed Midland Railway Workshops in 2024.

Registration last payment date: 5:00pm Tuesday 3rd November 2026
Delivery of exhibited pieces to the venue: Friday 6th November 2026 between 9:00am and 12:00 noon.
Exhibition opening hours: 7th and 8th of November 2026 between 9:00am and 3:30pm
Removal of exhibited pieces: Sunday 8th November 2026 between 3:30pm and 4:30pm
Exhibition closure: 4:30pm Sunday 8th November 2026
